“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” — Gandhi

“A single conversation with a wise man is better than ten years of study.” –Chinese Proverb

This one is important. I think that a human being needs to keep learning, striving for acquiring knowledge, skills, experiences, otherwise one will stagnate, become lazy and too comfortable in the same one place. I don’t just mean learning about things that are good for us, but learning about anything, good, bad, ugly things, because any knowledge enhances our personality, whether we learn about saving baby turtles in Suriname or learning about Hitler.

The important thing here is the word “about”. There’s a difference in learning about head shrinking tribes in Ecuador and learning to actually shrink heads….

This could include anything from learning to play harmonica through learning how to write a good blog (still no idea…) to learning about whether we do or don’t have free will by watching a YouTube video like this one from Sam Harris.

There’s a chance this one will overlap with Challenge. as one can learn from challenging himself too.

I’m looking forward to updating this one. I like learning.

Oh, a subsection of this one is my goal to speak 10 languages in the next 5 years.
